Adorable animals stole the show when they joined a community event at Meryton Place this spring.
Everyone at the home was delighted to greet the ducklings, chicks, and lambs who were invited especially for the community Easter event.
The festivities also included an Easter egg hunt with the beautiful gardens used to hide the chocolate treats.
Meryton Place residents all agreed it was a lovely day, and it was great to see so many children enjoying the activities on offer.
Regional Community Relations Lead Sarah Jacka said the event was a great success, with around 50 people attending.
She said:
“What a fantastic afternoon everyone had at Meryton Place when residents, their families, friends and people from the local community were invited to come along and enjoy an afternoon of arts and crafts, as well as the Easter egg hunt in the garden.
“Of course, our very cute guests from Creature Cuddles were a huge hit, and they were so friendly and happy to be stroked. They were delightful.”
Another treat on the day was when Head Chef Leanne served her famous chocolate brownies with a twist, this time making them with cream eggs, which was a definite hit with the crowd. There was also a selection of other delicious cakes and biscuits for guests.
