Team Cofton Park keep Postie Keith happy

Postman Keith always gets a warm welcome when he stops by Cofton Park Manor, as the team has taken to greeting him with a warming treat.

Having become the regular Royal Mail postie for the care home, Keith has got to know the team as he never fails to deliver the goods.

So, when he stops by with the mail, Keith is now greeted with a hot drink and delicious pastry.

Keith, who has worked as a postman for 15 years, said:

“Everyone is always friendly and chatty at Cofton Park, and I look forward to delivering the letters which can mean so much to the residents. It’s really lovely to be offered a hot drink, particularly as the winter chill sets in.”

Keith covers the Bromsgrove area. As well as sorting the mail for his route and ensuring any letters and packages are signed for, he can walk up to six hours a day to deliver the mail.

Cofton Park Manor Community Relations Lead Wendy Sibley said:

“It is always lovely to see Keith. He has a tough job, particularly in the winter with the dark, cold starts and long days. Everyone loves getting the letters, and we are grateful to Keith, who is so reliable.”
