Tears of joy and bundles of love filled Meryton Place Care Home when resident Angela Hurse met the latest addition to her family.
Angela, 87 had a wonderful visit from her daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter and tiny great great granddaughter Arabella Rose Williams.
Delighted Angela said:
“What a delight to see Arabella, she is truly beautiful and so well behaved. She slept most of the time while she was here!”
Angela has seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren with Arabella being the very first great, great grandchild.
The family enjoyed a celebratory tea with lots of chatter and laughter - with eight-day-old Arabella sleeping through most of the day.
Regional Community Relations Lead Sarah Jacka said:
“We are very lucky to have Angela living here at Meryton Place she always has a smile on her face and is a big part of our community.
“It’s amazing to see her with her family; it means so much to Angela and how wonderful that she has met beautiful Arabella, who she is very proud of.”
Angela’s great-granddaughter – Arabella’s mother – works at sister home Lovell Place in Charlton Hayes, Bristol and was planning to visit Lovell Place the following day to introduce Arabella to the residents and staff.
