Caring Homemakers have treated residents to winter spa days which have included beautiful manicures.
Nesbit House Community Relations Lead Richard Hollands said January and February could sometimes seem a bit gloomy as everyone awaits the spring.
So, as everyone loves a bit of pampering, the home has focused on spa days and self-care.
He said: “This is so important for our self-esteem and confidence, and no matter our age, it’s important to everyone.
“It may be cold outdoors, but inside, we’re staying very cosy and enjoying our luxury facilities.
“Our residents can still enjoy a spa, a hair styling or manicure – but they don’t even have to leave the comfort of their own home.”
It is a known fact that feeling good about the way we look has a strong impact on our emotional and mental wellbeing.
