UNDER SEA ADVENTURES FOR CADDINGTON RESIDENTS

image

The residents recently spent the day creating beautiful sea life artwork, including making sea-themed masks and hanging mobiles.

Alex Mclauchlan, Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coach, said: “The deep seas hold so much mystery and adventure.

“We wanted to explore some underwater themes, so we made some sea creature masks that we painted and decorated.

“I then laminated them and added sticks so they would be like masquerade masks.

“We all enjoyed using them and thought they looked very good. We had sea horse and jellyfish decorations hanging from the windows and ceilings to make it feel as if we are swimming with them under the sea.”

After the event, the residents enjoyed some delicious refreshments – much appreciated after their creative hard work.

The fantastic buffet, provided by Caddington Grove's head chef and kitchen staff, included sausage rolls, pork pies, mini quiches, sea-based foods, scotch eggs and a tray with a selection of scrumptious puddings.

The residents then enjoyed a 60s-themed quiz and some music by the Beach Boys.
