The children from Holdance Studios in Hailsham performed a selection of dances for the residents. They even gave residents a sneak preview of a forthcoming show.
Regional Community Relations Lead Richard Hollands said: “We all had a wonderful afternoon, and we hope to see the talented young dancers again soon.
“These kinds of intergenerational events benefit everyone involved and we have so much to learn from one another, no matter what our age.”
The children, all aged between four and 10, were also able to chat to residents about their dance classes.
Resident Kath said: “How lovely it is to see these young faces in our home.”
Another fellow resident Elizabeth added how it reminded her about her childhood experiences doing ballet and tap.
