Resident Graham Langton, aged 72, hailed the concert a huge success and said the choir gave ‘an amazing performance’ alongside their own keyboard player.
And fellow resident Graham was so inspired by the choir he even got out his own guitar to play along on the day.
Residents, family, friends and staff also enjoyed the event as the choir performed Christmas classics including, 'A Child is Born', 'Deck the Halls' and 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas'.
Regional Community Relations Lead Val Foley said: “Everyone was singing along, and I think people from miles around must have heard us, all very good for our lungs!
“The choir was so inspiring, and it was lovely to welcome them again to Elstow Manor, everyone is so talented.
“Music is incredibly good for the mind and heart, and when we all joined, it then creates such a great spirit amongst us, and this is very special.
“The afternoon has created yet more wonderful memories for us here at Elstow Manor. We hope to welcome the amazing choir back next year.”
After the performance members of the choir sat down for hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies with the residents and enjoyed chatting and making new friends.
