Gorgeous Reggie Brings Bundles of Joy to Templeton Place

image

Adorable Reggie melts residents’ hearts when he makes his visits to Templeton Place.

The cute cockapoo gets the VIP treatment when he cuddles up to residents and is happy to twist and twirl for entertainment. Friendly Reggie is brought to the home by Jacquie, who has trained him to always be on his best behaviour – although he can be a little mischievous, especially as he shows off his dance skills.

Resident Margaret said: “Reggie brings such joy to Templeton Place - he really is very funny and so cuddly too.”

Reggie is welcomed into Templeton Place as part of the home’s pet therapy programme. Animals are known to help people relax, as well as encouraging good social skills.

Customer Relations Manager Claire Roberts said: “Animals are such loving creatures and can bring great comfort to people. They can also help us overcome loneliness, as well as make us laugh and reduce feelings of anxiety and stress.

“Reggie certainly brings bundles of cheer, and we all love his cuddles as well as his dancing. We really look forward to his visits here at Templeton Place.”

Jacquie has a background in dementia advice and carer support and understands the benefits of visiting pets.
