Enthusiastic staff decided to mix up a whole range of amazing cocktails for the event, asking residents for their favourite ingredients.
Residents gathered in The Three Chimneys Cocktail Bar at the home to enjoy their refreshments created by Wellbeing Coach Iestyn Gadd and his brother Cy who works as a Maintenance Officer at the home.
The delicious non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks also stirred up some nostalgic chats between residents, staff and guests.
After sipping his cocktail, Nesbit House resident John said:
“My drink was so lovely and was a great twist on the original! It was a lovely way to spend a rather wet afternoon here at Nesbit House. We all laughed and were able to come together for some super conversation, too.”
Iestyn said:
“We asked everyone about their favourite flavours and how they like their drinks and it was great fun to mix the drinks. It’s also a very creative activity, making something that looked good but was also delicious to drink. We will certainly be doing this in warmer weather when we can hopefully enjoy our lovely gardens, along with some sunshine.”
