Egg-cited nursery children couldn’t wait to meet staff from Cofton Park Manor who handed them 35 delicious chocolate Easter eggs.

The children from Cotton Tails Too, Rubery, played host to the Cofton team in a visit which brought extra big smiles to everyone.

The team also handed over boxes of amazing eggs to children at Acorns Children’s Hospice which offers specialist care for children 24/7.

Resident Iris Bessent, aged 82, said:

“It was lovely to hear about the visit and see the photographs of the children who looked so happy with their eggs.

“It’s always a joy to see their wonderful faces and hear about their chatter.”

Community Relations Lead Wendy Sibley said:

“We were delighted to see the children and to hear about their plans for Easter. They were very busy making Easter artwork and talking about their plans for the holidays.”

The Acorns Children’s Hospice has three specialist children's hospices based in Birmingham, Walsall and Worcester, serving the West Midlands and Gloucestershire.
