Visitors enjoyed a taste of life at Elstow Manor as the team threw open the home’s doors for a special open day.
The happy occasion gave members of the community, as well as healthcare professionals, a chance to view the luxury home.
Supported by Age UK Bedfordshire, Eldercare Solutions, and Crème Brew Lait, the event was hailed as a success by all.
Regional Community Relations Lead Val Foley said:
“It was wonderful to see so many people turn up to see Elstow Manor and all we have to offer. “It was also a superb opportunity to bring people together and discuss things that matter to them in a warm environment.”
During the afternoon, visitors had extensive viewing of the home with tours showing off the luxury bedrooms, deluxe cinema, dining room and lounges, as well as the bar and the amazing Wellbeing and Beauty Salon, which offers a retreat for pampering.
Local saxophonist and singer Andy was delighted to attend the afternoon and thrilled everyone with his playing.
During the event, visitors from the community and health professionals praised how lovely the home was, and everyone went away with a special Hamberley Gift bag of goodies. Val added:
“Everyone had fun, and we are all still talking about it. We’d like to extend a big thank you to all our guests for coming along and meeting us.”
