Music-loving Milngavie Manor residents were treated to front row seats when they turned up for a concert performed by the Bearsden Fiddlers.

Dozens of musicians from the talented group who practice every week in Cairns Church, Milngavie, played an incredible concert to a packed house.

And Milngavie residents couldn’t wait to enjoy the performance especially as they had front row seats!

Resident Brian Wood said:

“It was a wonderful evening of music and good spirit; the musicians are so talented and there is nothing quite like a live concert.”

Wellbeing Coach Morag Scott said:

“What a fantastic night and the rain certainly did not dampen any spirits.

“A big thanks to Irene from Bearsden Fiddlers for organising our front-row seats at the concert - it made life so much easier for us and the residents accessing the concert.

“Everyone was so welcoming it was smiles on faces all round.”

The Bearsden Fiddlers, established in 1972, is a group of multi-instrumentalists who play traditional Scottish music from the past and present.

They also perform music from around the world. The group of about 50 practices regularly and plays a whole range of gigs.
