The residents at Alston House Care Home enjoyed a party with friends and family to mark their platinum date.
The pair were married in August 1953 at the church close to Beddington Park in Beddington, Surrey.
Stella, 92, worked as a hairdresser, and Rob, 94, was a workshop engineer and served in the Royal Air Force.
The couple have two children. Before moving to Alston House, the pair lived locally in Eastleigh.
Rob puts the secret of their long marriage down to choosing each other every single day.
He said: “Love and respect are very important for the marriage.”
Stella added: “Tolerance is very important too, because no one is perfect.”
Today the pair enjoy tea parties at Alston House, a lot of music and singing. They also love spending time together enjoying nice food and wine.
When the couple were married, there was a young Queen Elizabeth on the throne, and it was also the year that Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay were the first to climb Mount Everest.
