Residents and staff went all out to celebrate the special Alice in Wonderland-themed event, and the eclectic collection of tableware looked a treat.
Resident Ronnie, 90 years old said: “It was wonderful to see everyone dressed up, and the cakes were gorgeous.”
The delicious cakes were kitchen staff, including Chef Barbara and kitchen assistant Costi.
Residents also invited friends and family to the event.
Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coach Claudia Modiga said: "It was a super party, and everyone loved the costumes as well the amazing cakes.
“Alice in Wonderful is such a favourite tale and is something we love as adults just as much as we did as children. The tea party brought it all to life.”
Unlike the famous Mad Hatter’s tea party, where the time is stuck at 6 O’clock, the party did end with Charrington residents and staff looking forward to the next big event.
