The expert team brought a handsome barn owl with them to the home. The owl is a distinctive countryside bird and is the most widely distributed species of owl in the world.
The incredible creature, with its beautiful heart-shaped face, can be found almost anywhere in the world except for the polar and desert regions.
Ernstell House Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coach Rachel Stephenson said: “This was a magical experience, and we were delighted to have the falconry team here to share their expert knowledge.
“It was a completely thrilling session that all ages can enjoy. We were amazed at how relaxed the owl was to be inside the home.
“David and Michelle had so much information to share, and we were all very impressed.”
Westcountry Falconry is run by David and Michelle Buncle. As well as visits and outdoor events, the team provide bird control services. Between them, the couple have introduced hundreds of people to birds of prey.
They have a variety of birds including Khulan the eagle, hawks and of course the amazing barn owl.
