Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coach Emilia and Home Manager Rachelle are raising money for the charity Refuge when they make the jump on June 9.
And the courageous pair have already raised nearly £1,000 for the charity.
The charity is the largest specialist domestic abuse organisation in the UK and supports thousands of people, including children, facing domestic violence.
Emilia said: “Neither of us has done anything like this before, but we wanted to find an exceptional way to raise this money for an incredible charity.
“Refuge is an excellent organisation and has been working for domestic violence victims since 1971. The work they do is sadly very necessary, but they are helping to rebuild lives every day.”
The tandem skydive is at Old Sarum in Wiltshire and is being organised through Skyline Events, which is a fundraising events agency.
Rachelle added: “We would like to thank everyone who has very kindly donated to our appeal through our JustGiving page.
“All of the donations will make a big difference to people’s lives, and it’s lovely to see such generosity.
“We are determined to make the jump and not let anyone down.”
The pair will undergo a day’s worth of training before jumping out of the aircraft in tandem with a qualified skydive instructor.
Emilia added: “I will have to build up my courage, but doing it with Rachelle helps as we can support one another.
“I feel very lucky to work at Verwood House with such lovely residents and staff, and of course, usually, I like to keep my feet on the ground – so this is certainly a new venture, and to be honest, I am a little daunted!”
