The day, which marked the official opening of their new second floor, was hailed a huge success.
Claudia Modiga Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coach said: “Nearly one year has gone since we opened our doors at Charrington Manor Care Home.
“Over this year, we have made some incredible memories and friends and we have had a lot of fun.
“Our open day for the second floor at Charrington Manor has been a great success.
“Many of our residents have lived in this area for years, and so we invited the local people to visit us, allowing them to get to know Charrington Manor residents in their very homely, calm, relaxing and wonderful environment.
“Thank you to everyone who came along and met our team and residents. We cannot wait to welcome new residents and friends here at Charrington Manor to build more lovely memories and moments.”
The home has been named as a tribute to one of the area’s longest serving and well-known residents, Charles Edward Nicholas Charrington. And since the Charrington family had a history of community work, the home is always keen to welcome the community inside.
