Bob, 83, has always enjoyed being creative and has produced many lovely paintings that adorn his room at the care home.
During recent arts and crafts sessions, Bob has been fascinated to discover new uses for old items and has made artwork out of unloved books.
Bob said: "It's brilliant to make things like this and not throw books away - I didn't know you could do this, I love it!"
Talented Bob is a former engineer and scout leader and has lived in Bristol for most of his life. He moved to Meryton Place earlier this year.
He is a father of two, and daughter Susan and son Malcolm enjoy visiting Meryton and participating in the activities. Bob also has three grandchildren.
Wellbeing and lifestyle Coach Gemma Crow said: "Bob throws himself into all the activities here at Meryton Place and is very enthusiastic about being creative.
"The objects he makes are truly beautiful and made with such patience."
