Verwood’s Bistro was decorated with eye-popping '80s garb as Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coach Emilia and her Colleagues went back in time.
Residents were encouraged to don bright accessories to join in with the staff, who’d gone full '80s with their costumes and make up.
With a collection of chart-topping hits playing on the sound system it was time to disco.
Emilia said: “We wanted to recreate the fun and energy of the '80s – and give the residents a day to remember.
“They thought it was hilarious to see us all dressed up in neon lace gloves, legwarmers and waving glowsticks.
“We set the light projector to beam moving shapes across the room to recreate the disco atmosphere.
“With the music pumping and the fantastic atmosphere, it was like being at an '80s party back in the day.”
Emilia and her colleagues put on a show for the residents, including doing high-octane exercise routines to music.
They channelled their inner Mr Motivator to recapture those iconic moves.
Emilia said: “We wanted to encourage everyone to get moving the music – and we went all out with our routines!
“It was great fun, even if we were left short of breath by the end of it.
“The residents said they have a fun time going back to the '80s and getting their disco moves out.”
