Everybody gathered in the Tree Tops activity room to transform some plain gingerbread men and shortbread snowmen with icing.
With the sort of focus that Paul Hollywood would be proud of, residents carefully decorated their chosen biscuits during a fun-filled session.
After work was complete, there was no time to display the results on a gingham altar as the group tucked into their sweet creations.
According to Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coach Kay Griffett, the Bake Off got Residents in a very Christmassy mood.
Kay said: “It was a terrific way to spend the afternoon – the residents loved it.
“There were some brilliant gingerbread men and snowmen creations, but they didn’t last very long because they tasted as good as they looked.
“Unlike the telly Bake Off, we didn’t choose a winner. Instead, the residents were all star bakers on the day!”
Following the biscuit decorating, residents were in high spirits, so they had an impromptu carol practice.
They wanted to be in fine voice for an upcoming carol concert, so they took the opportunity to run through the songs together.
Kay added: “Everyone felt so Christmassy that it seemed the perfect opportunity to get our carol practice in.
“The excitement is building for our festive celebrations, and it’s lovely to see the residents in the Christmas spirit.”
