Caddington Grove luxury care home in Dunstable has unveiled its all new senior leadership team as the home prepares for reopening later this Summer.

Home Manager Martyn Dawes and his team will welcome residents to the new look Caddington Grove in July after a state-of-the-art refurbishment.  Martyn, who has held senior leadership roles for more than 15 years, said he was thrilled to be joining the team at such an exciting time.

“It’s wonderful to be part of a new way of providing care and support. Our residents deserve to live life on their terms, not ours, and that’s why I’m so excited that we’ll be introducing our Homemakers model to Caddington Grove.

“Instead of traditional care workers everyone will be a ‘Homemaker’. We’ll all provide care, we’ll all keep things clean and tidy and we’ll all offer companionship and take an interest in the lives of our residents.

“Removing a sense of hierarchy amongst the team means it’s simply everyone’s job to ensure our residents lead a meaningful and quality life every day.”

Joining Martyn in the new leadership team are; Louise Atherton (Clinical Lead), Kelly Cox (Community Relations Lead), Amy Humphries (Lifestyle and Wellbeing Coach) and Shirley Pryce (Business Administrator).  Martyn added that he was looking forward to introducing himself to the local community in the coming weeks and months.

“It’s my wish that Caddington Grove is embedded at the heart of our community here in Dunstable. We have some fantastic events coming up, including a Wellbeing Fair, that we hope the everyone will join us for.”
