My mum has been here for eight months and the improvement in her has been enormous, despite her Alzheimer’s. She was in very poor health when she first arrived after a time in hospital, bedridden and unable to feed herself. She now spends her days in the lounge, feeds herself and is happy and settled which would have been hard for us to believe given her level of anxiety on admittance.

We can’t speak highly enough of the staff who have always treated Mum with care and respect. There is a stable team who we have come to know through our daily visits. Would thoroughly recommend Caddington Grove Care Home, it has truly become a home for our mum.

Both my parents were residents of Caddington Grove Care Home receiving end-of-life care, my dad most recently and mum about eighteen months ago. The level of care and kindness they both received was excellent, this care and kindness also extended to me and my sister when Dad passed away recently. Although both my parents were only cared for by the home for a short period of time, I would not hesitate to recommend the home.
As well as the staff being kind and caring, the home is beautifully decorated and maintained and gives a real "home from home" feel as soon as you walk through the door.

Mum became a resident at Charrington Manor in August 2023. Such a big change can be difficult but she was warmly welcomed and a lot of effort from everyone has helped Mum settle in and become part of the Charrington family. She now says she would never leave! Always a lovely warm, friendly atmosphere

Having reviewed nine nursing homes, Abbots Wood Manor came out on top.

The overall feeling of entering the home and the facilities offered we impressive. Now that my brother is a resident, I am equally impressed with the care he has received. In addition, the staff have shown a level of care and concern towards me that I did not expect. Abbots Wood Manor warmly welcomes visitors, family and friends and I love that they allow dogs, justifying that it is a home. The building, the rooms, the decor and the furnishing and the staff. All to be proud of.

I would recommend this home very highly. Mum and my stepdad went into Alston House for respite care. At all times they were treated with respect and treated with exceptional care. Mum was very anxious on her arrival but within a short time, her confidence and mobility improved greatly which was lovely to see.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and you soon become part of the Alston House family from residents to their families. This is a beautiful home with good food, lots of activities and great caring staff.

Our mother is incredibly happy at Brookwater. The homemakers are utterly delightful and very patient. Her morale has improved considerably, and we have observed the return of her sense of humour; she has begun taking pride in her appearance and the clothes she wears. The room is light and very comfortable,

I can’t praise enough. We’ve been welcomed with open arms. It’s such a relief knowing my mom is being well cared for. It’s a real luxury home but has a homely feel. All the staff are so warm, friendly, kind, compassionate and good fun. Special mention to two members of staff in particular who are both so personable, helpful and caring and a real credit to the home.

My mom has settled in really well which was helped by getting to know the place first by being able to come to the activities/entertainment. The rooms are lovely, spacious and really homely. The food is delicious and it doesn’t feel like a care home, more like a luxury hotel. It’s a lovely place to spend time with residents and visitors who are all made to feel really welcome. From the first time we walked through the door, we got ‘that feeling’ and knew it was the right place. From my mom saying to me please don’t put me in a home to book me a room here! It’s so nice to see her happy, relaxed and smiling. Thank you to all the staff.

I have had such a wonderful time since moving into Cofton Park Manor Care Home. All the staff have been so friendly and supportive. We have moved in together, my wife and I, and it has helped me to make sure my wife is cared for while I have chemo. I was worried about what would happen to her. Now I have peace of mind and am very happy. It is so lovely to have our meals prepared and our room is just beautiful. Thank you.

I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of care my mother received in the four weeks of respite she spent in Lovell Place. This was an emergency placement, following her premature discharge from hospital, and the response from every member of staff was nothing short of outstanding, from the comprehensive assessment by the medical staff of her care needs, which was organised on the very same day we contacted them, to the reception she received the next day from all the carers and managers when she was admitted. The proof of the effectiveness of my mum's care is that, within a matter of days, she moved from an anxious, confused, and disoriented patient to a happy, comfortable, and relaxed resident. I would recommend this care home without the slightest reservation.

Lovell Place Care Home has been an absolute winner from the very beginning. Everything from the rooms, facilities, food and so on, together with the wonderful and caring staff, has made the experience for both my parents and us such a positive one. After living in their home for 66 years, moving into a care environment was the unknown. However, Mum and Dad both agree they couldn't be in a better place and are very happy, as we all are, knowing how well they're being looked after.
