Kay Mitchell

Registered Care Home Manager

Kay Mitchell has over 20 years of experience in the care industry. Though she initially trained in accountancy, she discovered her true calling as a Health Care Assistant, working with people living with dementia. From there, she progressed to Senior Care, Deputy Manager, and ultimately Home Manager, overseeing both residential and nursing homes with capacities ranging from 54 to 75 beds. Kay holds several qualifications, including QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care, ILM Level 4 in Management, and a CIPD Intermediate Diploma in HR Management. She was introduced to the ‘Eden Alternative’ model of care during her time managing a home in Wales, and later became an Eden Associate and the Welsh Eden Alternative Ambassador. Kay is passionate about helping residents live happy, fulfilled lives with variety and spontaneity. She feels fortunate to work in a role that allows her to connect with people who have led such interesting lives.

Customer Relations Manager

Claire is the Customer Relations Manager at Templeton Place, where she is dedicated to supporting all individuals and their families. She offers specialist advice for those living with dementia and provides compassionate guidance to carers. With a strong focus on community engagement, Claire understands the unique needs of individuals and ensures their well-being by delivering the highest standard of appropriate care. Drawing on her extensive customer service experience, Claire is committed to fostering meaningful connections, delivering exceptional support, and enhancing the lives of residents and families at Templeton Place.
