Registered Home Manager

Janyce Wilks

Registered Home Manager

Janyce Wilks is a Registered Nurse who completed her training in Portsmouth in 1984. Since qualifying, she has built a varied and interesting career, working across primary and secondary care, the pharmaceutical industry, and forensic nursing before returning to Social Care in 2015. She progressed to the role of Deputy Manager and later General Manager at Signature Senior Lifestyle before moving to Avery as a General Manager. Returning to Social Care brought her back to her roots—delivering dignified, high-quality care that is safe and effective, enabling individuals to live their best lives in their later years. As a Home Manager, Janyce takes great pride in creating a warm, happy, and homely environment for both residents and staff. She is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of care and is dedicated to maintaining them. She believes that everyone in the community should have a voice and be heard, ensuring their choices are supported and their dignity is always upheld. Janyce joined the Hamberley team in 2024 and looks forward to providing peace of mind to families who entrust their loved ones into her care. Together with her team, she is committed to creating meaningful and lasting moments for residents and their families.

Customer Relations Manager

Tina Laing

Customer Relations Manager

Tina has joined Hamberley at its newest opening – Hindhead Place Care Home – as Customer Relations Manager, a role she has thoroughly enjoyed in the past before being promoted to a Regional Role overseeing a portfolio of 21 Care Homes in the South. She brings a genuinely caring approach to the role and takes great pleasure in helping families navigate their search for care for themselves or their loved ones. Tina is committed to supporting families throughout the entire process, from the initial enquiry to ensuring a smooth and reassuring transition into their new home. She places great importance on building strong relationships with residents, family members, and the local community, taking pride in fostering kind and meaningful connections with everyone involved.

Before beginning her career in the Care Sector, Tina worked in the film industry for 15 years with Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros as VP of European Promotions. This role allowed her to travel extensively across Europe and America, developing strategic partnerships and promotional plans for film releases while collaborating with an international team of marketers – and, of course, a whole host of celebrities!
