My sister and I viewed many care homes before choosing Abbots Wood for our father. We knew upon entering the home and after our first meeting with the manager and regional relations manager that this was a special place. My father settled quickly and has been very happy living there. All the staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble.
The food is delicious, plenty of activities going on and daily walks in the gardens if the resident so wishes. The accommodation is light and airy and has a lovely feel. The Homemakers have made it a very special place for my father. Now his health is declining we have been met with care and compassion and he is still happy. This is a very special home, one of a kind.
